Seven-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise to Feature Workshops, Seminars By Leading
Health, Fitness, Nutrition, Relationship Experts
MIAMI (March 10, 2004) - From tai chi, yoga and strength training to
"spiritual fitness" and proper diet and nutrition techniques, the "Mind/Body
Cruise," sponsored by Carnival Cruise Lines and Shape and Men's Fitness
magazines, offers a broad range of activities to enrich the mind, body and
spirit. The week-long health and wellness cruise takes place aboard the
"Fun Ship" Carnival Triumph Oct. 9-16, 2004.
Informative and insightful workshops and seminars by leading health,
nutrition, fitness and relationship experts will be held throughout the
seven-day eastern Caribbean cruise, which will feature port calls to San
Juan, St. Thomas/St. John and St. Maarten. A number of on-island events
will be held, as well.

Activities held during the week-long voyage include "Restorative Yoga,"
providing proper techniques for the centuries-old relaxation and exercise
regimen; "Shaping Your Goals," which helps participants develop a
nutritional profile; "Transformational Dance," a fun and interesting way to
get or stay in shape; and "Shaping Your Mother/Daughter Relationship," with
effective methods to further enhance the parent/child bond.
While aboard the 2,758-passenger SuperLiner, "Mind/Body Cruise"
participants can also take advantage of the ship's 15,000-square-foot health
club, Spa Carnival, which offers a wide variety of workout equipment,
exercise classes, sauna/steam rooms, whirlpools, and body and facial
treatments. A jogging track and full-service salon are also available.
