We just stayed there on our way back from a Paradise cruise. It was very nice. Definitely a 4 star hotel. It's really close to downtown Miami and Bayside. We got in from our cruise on Sunday Morning and Taxi'd over to the hotel. They couldn't get us into a room until 3:00 PM so the Bell Captain watched our bags and we walked to Bayside and downtown. No problems at all in the daytime. After dark I'd take a taxi. By the way we got the room for $43.00 (including all taxes etc) on Priceline.com

I wish our price was $43 ours is $80 including transfers what ever that means. Our TA booked us thru Carnival. But that is ok, we'll take it. We'll be staying there day before the cruise. Thanks for the info. how did you like the Paradise? we have never sailed her before but are looking forward to it. Any ideas/comments on the excursions? We have heard that Coki beach and the blue lagoon is nice. Any thoughts? thanks
