Default GloryTours in Barbados, and Reynos Tours in Dominica

Just curious if anyone has done any tours from them, if so which ones and did you like it? Thank you for the feedback.

Mark

HI...we went with Reyno Tours in February and had a blast. Some people, I've read, didn't care for Dominica..but of all the ports we stopped in, my husband and I both agreee that Dominica was a highlight of our trip....I'd go w/ Reyno tours again..they made the island (which some people said was too "poor" and unfriendly) look beautiful.

Have a great time.

Hi,

I am one of those who didn't like Dominica, nor did the other 4 people with us. We did the tour with Reynos, yes he was there when he said, but there are only about 3 things to see, the falls, the rain forest and Mr. Nices fruit stand. And frankly if you have seen 1 rain forest you have seen them all. There was no animals or birds, just trees and huts. They were nice to see, but the rest of the country is poor and very poor. There are no beaches and the only shopping is right at the port. If I were to go again, I would use this day as a spa day or a pool day. But I do also feel you have to go and see if you never have been. Would I take the tour, I doubt it.
Barbados, we love. We went directly to Spieghtstown and the beach there. Small and very nice. With all the para-sailing, jet-skiing, beach chairs, drinks and food. I heard from someone else they took the rum runner cruise which actually took them to the Boatyard, (which they were there earlier in the morning), they were kind of dissapointed.
But a good taxi ride will take you around and you can see the sights for not too much money.

Have fun!

Nicki

Thanx for the info Chris and Nicki, we thought about doing the Reyno tour in Dominica, none of us has been to a rain forest before, but Barbados is the only port left where I have no clue what we are going to do. We want to go to the beach but we want to see some of the sights too, and of course shopping. Maybe the taxi ride around might be the best option.

Thanx again

Mark

Nicki,

Did you take a cab to the Boatyard??? Also, you mentioned having the para-sailing, jet-skiing, beach chairs, drinks and food there. What are the approx. costs for Para-sailing, jet-skiing and beach chairs if you know them? I am assuming that this is not an all-inclusive program?

We went with glory tours in Barbados, 2 adults 3 kids 16, 13, 10, we ended up with a private tour and really enjoyed it, they took us to Harrisons Cave, Bathsheba, the Wildlife park, authentic lunch of flying fish or chicken, ship wreck snorkle, and sea turtle swim, it cost about 300$ for all of us, but all admissions and lunch were included...Ricki was our tour guide and would highly recommend them

We attempted to book with them in January. It was like pulling teeth. Had to send and resend numerous E-mails to get them to respond. Finally gave up on them and went with what was offered on ship. There is another popular cruise website which has a whole thread dedicated to them. The long and the short is that even if you think you have a reservation, you must ensure that you get a "Tour Pass".
