I don't think there is a difference I thought that was weird when she told me that. Has anyone out there had an upgrade with 3 or 4 people in a cabin. Sailing on the conquest in May.
we are sailing on the glory in may with 4 and recieved an upgrade from 4a to 4d about 6 weeks ago then recieved another upgrade to a family suite monday.
That is great. I’m going to call may TA back. When I booked with her she said I would be guarantee. When I got my receipt it had a cabin number. Will they still consider me for an upgrade. I’m a first time cruiser. Any suggestions?
It may depend on the ship and the time of year you're sailing. Not every cabin on the ship can accomodate 4 to a cabin. Many can only hold two. If you're sailing within the next few weeks, you probably won't get an upgrade. Spring Break...full ships.
I have a guarantee for 3, & I am hoping to be upgraded. But, If I am not, I guess I won't be disappointed. Anyway I do hear that lower deck inside is most likely to be not so rocky?
We have a balcony gty for 3 of us. We figured with 3 females we would need the extra room to get away from each other if needed. We'd love an upgrade but will be happy with our 8A if not :o)
Cruizegal - you're right. Lower deck inside will probably have the minimal amount of rocking. The rocking effect is more noticeable the higher up you go. Depends on what time of year you go, though. I've been on the Riviera Deck inside three times...twice in December and once in September. No rocking felt at all. (Of course, those drinks might have affected my memory...!!)
