Anyone use AAA 's Travel Agency to book tickets on the Miracle?
We used them to book a 6-night cruise and received absolutely NO additional benefits from them. Anyone else use them to book passage? Did you receive your upgrades/discounts/vouchers? We were told that since we didn't book a 7-night cruise with them (we are sailing on a 6-night cruise), there were no AAA benefits available to us.... not something the TA divulged before or during the booking.
We booked our 7-day cruise through AAA (Pride, 04/11/04). What kinds of benefits should we be receiving from AAA? Our TA hasn't mentioned anything about extras, discounts, vouchers or upgrades (although she did check w/Carnival for a price reduction, but there wasn't one). Can you tell me what kinds of extras AAA usually provides? Thank you.
Re: Re: Any Miracle Cruisers using AAA to book tiks?
Supposedly, AAA offers discounts on excursions, on-ship credits, cruise-pricing, etc..., but evidently only on 7-day cruises.
From their brochure, it makes it sound like they offer these specials all the time, but all throughout the booking process, receipt of documents, and calling them again, this wasn't mentioned until we specifically requested the vouchers. Then we were given the bum's rush.
We basically told them that since we didn't receive any benefit for having the AAA card, we'll take our business somewhere else the next time -- the TA's response was only a "okay".
