Default Cruise Document YIKES

I had been reading about problems some people had with cruise documents and today I checked my documents agains my passport. My passport and my husbands passport have have our first, middle and last names. The cruise documents just have first and last names. So I had my husband call Carnival and they told him that their would not be a problem at the pier and not to worry about it. So the engineer I married had them ask a supervisor and she guaranteed my husband this would not be an issue.

Naturally he didn't have her fax anything in writing. We sail in 9 days. My question to many of you who have much more experience and knowledge should I go ahead and call Carnival again and ask them to fax me a paper stating this won't be an issue in Galveston etc?

Thanks
Lenay

Middle names are not an issue. I'm a TA, and I always ask clients for their FIRST AND LAST LEGAL names with correct spelling. I go by my middle name, but always book myself under my legal first name, because that's what's on my Passport. Your Passport is required to have your full legal name, including your middle name. Cruise/travel documents are booked under legal first and last names. You won't have anything to worry about as long as the first and last names are the same on your Passport and cruise documents. Middle names are just that....middle names. Have a great cruise!

It's not an issue at all. My DL has my middle inital as R (which is my maiden name) and my birth certificate has my actually middle name which is ANN. Never had a problem with it. enjoy your cruise!!!

Thanks everyone for replying, my heart attack is now over. I am looking forward to the cruise and I plan on posting afterwards............. Looking forward to meeting those of you who are going. We have started talking already about our next cruise and we haven't even gone on the first yet.

Thanks again for relieving our fears,

Lenay and John\
