Key West is no longer one of the ports of call. I was told that there is major construction going on and a ship the size of Glory cannot dock. Instead we are going to Costa Maya. Anybody know anything about this port.
It's really true. Just go to the Carnival website, pretend you are booking "your" cruise and you'll see the itenerary change.
I'm delighted with the change myself!

We just returned from a RC cruise that included Costa Maya. It was very nice, right off the ship is a village for the use of the cruisers, including shops and a swimming pool with swim up bar, or volleyball tournements. However we ended up going back to the ship, our excursion to the beach unfortunetly at that time included a mass of jelly fish in the water, so we were able to cancel the excursion. Very secluded spot, surrounded by junhle, but no beach swimming right by the ships, too much coral.
I am sailing on the Easter cruise too. My travel agent told me yesterday that May 8 will be the date of the change of itinerary. I called Carnival customer service this morning to double-check.
The representatitve confirmed that May 8 will be the first cruising that will be going to Costa Maya instead of Key West.
