I've heard that Carnival guests at the Long Beach Pier can choose to do early check in at the nearby Queen Mary. Does anyone have details about this? Does one have to be an overnight guest at the Queen Mary or a paying visitor? What time is "early check-in"? We're sailing on the Pride on April 11th. Thanks!
They've alloted a small area to the left for early check in...I think it's in the hopes that people will want to pay the money to have a tour of the Queen Mary (didn't work on us.) There are a couple of shops and lots of tables, chairs and a few vendors outside. When it's close to the time for them to open the doors of the main terminal area two lines will begin to form.....one for those who have already checked in and one for those who haven't. I'm trying to remember if we had our "boarding picture" taken first or if they did the sail and sign picture first...I'm inclined to think the boarding picture was first. I'm thinking we arrived there around 10:30 or 11. This was the second or third week they were doing the early checkin so it may have changed or improved since then.
