Dining Companions

I was wondering how they match you up with your dining companions. Do they just match people up randomly, or do they look at age, interests, children, etc etc. Sailing Glory on 5/8/04. Thank you!

We had 8 at our table on the Conquest, we were all old foogies & it was great...

We were two single girls in our twenties...and we were seated with a guy and a girl who were also in their twenties. My TA said they really try and match you up with people of similar age and status. :-) We absolutely loved our tablemates...they were a perfect match for us! Hope you are as lucky! :-)

This is one the reason Carnival insists on getting dates of births for all passengers. It helps alot in making dining assignments.
