Through the day, on sea days, are most people in shoes/sandals, or traipsing around barefoot? I mean on deck, mostly, not in restaurants, etc. And if you are, say, going from your cabin to the pool, do most practice proper etiquette and wear shoes?
I have a slight aversion to feet. Ugh. Just wondering what to expect and what the protocol is on this!
Very interesting, I once took off to the bathroom in our room barefoot from the pool area and felt a little uncomfortable doing it. Man was I in a hurry. :} It was pretty close though. I ususally have my flip flops on. I did notice several people barefoot.
A lot of people will be on deck without shoes, as that is where the pools are. Most people bring sandals or water shoes with them, and wear them when not on deck. I did not see many people walking around without shoes, other than on the open decks.
My aversion to feet lies with those who practice poor podiatric hygiene, really. Hopefully those who insist on being barefoot will have at least trimmed their toenails. But I won't be looking to find out - ick!
I'll keep my eyes on more pleasureable sights - like the food in front of me or the seas all around :o)
