Florida/Bahamas 7 Day

Anyone do the Norwegian Dawns 7 day Bahama/Florida cruise leaving from New York, I see Carnival is offering one similar on the Miracle. It's our first (Of Many I hope) and it will appeal to our two teenage daughters, ages 17 and 13, the day in Universal sounds like a great excursion too. We want to go late June 2005, before oldest goes off to college, any advice? I can't wait to post my experiences on this site, you all seem so knowledeable, also if I book as soon as it's posted, will I get a good shot at upgrades, we're doing two rooms, hopefully connected. I just sailed the brand new Miracle and she is a beauty. My husband's co-worker just sailed the Norwegian Dawn the same week we sailed the Miracle. It was his first cruise and he and his family enjoyed it. We had a great experience on the Miracle and would go back in a heart beat.

Thank-You, I think it's going to be a toss up, both look like great ships. I'm not sure if Carnival offers Universal Studios for an excursion, it doesn't list it. But Carnival seems like they may be more passenger friendly and less stuck on the rules (ie bringing soda, wine on board ) Thanks again, Faith
