Jeff Bronson on the Paradise was a little too corny and "geeky" for me. Karl (with a K) assistant was funny but too overthetop. Only one I liked was the other assistant (can't even remember his name, but he was from Canada).

hey Stacowgirl - looks like you just got of the boat (Holiday). My apologies to everyone for changing the subject but, has the sewage problem totally evaporated?

You can call Carnival and they will tell you. I called and found out who our CD will be on our Sensation on May 15th and they were also able to tell me who our CD was on our last cruise this past September!!

Without having to type a huge message, can someone fill in the moron (me) on what exactly a cruise director does and how they can make such a huge impact on your cruise experience? When would one come in contact with their cruise director?

The cruise director hosts all the shows and seminars, he greets you over the intercom each morning and tells you about the days activites... he also hosts most activites and the games everyone plays in the showroom. He is your master of ceremonies. If you have a great Cruise Director.... odds are you're going to have a great time!

Rockeiracun:
The boat smelled like sewage when ever we got on and in the ports but it went away after sailing. It didn't bother my trip. Just wondered why the CD Paul Santley didn't make a joke about it.

Our vote goes to John Heald. You couldn't ask for a nicer and more personable, funny man. Wish him all the luck in the future in whatso ever he and his wife intend to do. I heard he will be leaving the triumph this summer for a couple of months, return for a short period and then leave again to go pick up the Valor.

We had John Heald on the Sensation and Triumph, and Mark Price on the Victory and the Glory. Both outstanding!!

Corey Schmidt on the Triumph from NYC to Canada in 2002.

That was my first trip ever, and I totally fell in love with him. He really made my trip a memorable one.

i lovveed chris jefferson! he was histerical, personable, and very, very friendly. i sailed the legend may 15th-23rd and for the person who wanted to know, i believe he will be the cruise director for the rest of the month while the ship sails out of new york city. last thursday, at dinner, he got down on one knee and asked a dancer onship to marry him. it was painfully romantic. he stole MY heart, and i hardly knew him... so of course the girl said yes. i loved witnessing the whole thing. if i had the oppertunity to be on another carnival ship while chris was the director, i'd be there in a heartbeat.
