Flying to port a day early

Ok.

I know it's BEST to fly into port city a day before. Unfortunately that was not possible for us, so we are flying that morning from Memphis to Orlando.

My question: How many others do this--fly out the morning of. I realize lots can happen, but just wonder if I'm alone! We did this 2 yrs ago and had no problems.

what time does your flight get into Orlando and I'm assuming you are sailing out of Port Canaveral. It's about a 2 1/2 hr drive from Orlando to there. FYI- traffic is awful in Orlando if you have never been there before.

We arrive at Orlando at 12:00--taking the carnival shuttle/bus to ship. Carnival said it was only about a 45 minute drive to the port---yikes!!

I live in Florida. The drive itself from the Orlando airport will be about an hour drive. Give or take 15mins. Pending on traffic. Hope this helps!

We may be the only fools crazy enough to cut it this close!

Orlando is 45 minutes from Port Canaveral. We are going a day prior, but have to leave from Orlando airport at 11:30am on t e trip home and our ship comes in at 7:00 am. Many people on this board told me I should be fine, so I can't imagine you having any trouble. Be sure and get travel insurance, though. Best wishes!

the glory doesnt leave until early evening just because you can start bording at 1 doesnt meen you have to . You will be just fine . we are going on the glory the 29th of may so well be right behind you, enjoy
