Default Ice bucket

We plan on bring some wine, soda and water with us . Is there a bucket in each cabin for ice? We are thinking of bring a soft cooler for some of it.

We brought our own wine for dinner each night. We carried it on in a soft cooler. We asked our room steward to keep it filled up with ice. He changed it twice a day for the rest of the cruise. We put a few sodas we bought at the first port and some water in there and used it as a mini fridge.

Your soft cooler must have been much larger than what we were thinking of bringing.

We had a small soft sided cooler along, and we put the ice in zip lock gallon bags. This avoided any leaking from the cooler, and kept it much tidier. The cabin steward kept putting new ice right in the cooler each day, then we would put it in the bags.

Ours is quite large, but did fit through the exray as a carry on. We didn't carry it filled with us, just cushioned our wine in it. It never leaked with the ice in it. We wanted a make shift refrigerator.

How much Champagne /wine do they allow you to bring on the ship? My Docs said that you can bring wine or champagne on during embarkation. It did not give a limit. However, on the phone carnival said one per cabin. Or did you guys just sneak it on?

Thanks

I asked about bringing a box of wine, which obviously is ALOT more wine than in a bottle...and most people said that was ok....
