thats what we are doing we are ariving a day early so we will enjoy the car for 40 bucks from avis then return it in port canaveral and avis will shuttle you to the pier for free cant beat that deal.
Yes, we are using Art's on the way back so that we can get off the ship and be taken straight to the airport to catch our flight at 11:30am. That is running us $60 for a party of 4. We rented the Avis car from the Orlando airport to Cape Canaveral also the day before so that we could drive to our hotel and check out Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral. The Avis car is costing us $35.00. These were the two most economical and hassle free ways I found after alot of research. Happy Cruising!
Carnival will bus you to the port from Orlando and back for $25 each way, but they'll only do it the day of the cruise and the day returning from the cruise.
If we booked air and cruise through Carnival do they set up that shuttle automatically for us. Will they know what time we're due to arrive and be waiting for us?
Re: Re: Re: SHuttle from Orlando to Port Canaveral
Cruiaingal-- yes, if you purchase air through Carnival, they will know what time your flight arrives so your name will be on a list for the shuttle at that time. (it's usually a big bus, rather than a 'shuttle'). Just go to the baggage claim, get your luggage, and look for the Carnival rep there, who will check off your name and direct you to the bus.
