Default How much money to bring for drinks

Hey everyone, I was wondering how much money to bring for alcoholic drinks. I heard they were expensive and the best bet was to drink on the islands or smuggle alcohol in. Reguardless I'm going to drink on the ship no matter the price. I was just wondering a ballpark figure for how much to bring.

thanks

250 bucks for a 7 day cruise should cover drinks if you like to drink a lot if just moderatly you may not need that much

I am a drinker and although I brought a bottle of vodka on the ship I still like to purchase the speciality drinks of the day and another drink at dinner. I spent 75.00 for 5 nights.

I've never paid for hot tea or hot chocolate in the dining room or at the Lido buffet. I don't think there is a charge for coffee, either. Where did you get that price list?

The list can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the carnival site. There is TONS of good info in there!

Right, that's where I got it. Here's a link to the site.

I'm guessing that while you don't have to pay for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in the Lido deck restaurant, you do in the bars. For example, we noticed a coffee machine at the casino bar this past weekend; I guess you'd have to pay if you got it there.

Cheers,
Michelle P.

Dont forget it goes on your sign and sail card and you can keep tabs on it with the interactive TV. Coffee, lemonade, ice tea and water are free on the lido deck both in the buffet and near the pools. Never paid for coffee from room service either. Only time I drank coffee at the bars was an Irish coffee obviously paid for the liquor. Enjoy your cruise. Also buckets of bud go for 13.50 (for 4 buds on ice). I should know my husband ordered them all the time he wasnt a drink of the day person like me. lol

For a 5 day/4 night cruise we spent $420 for drinks for the two of us and drank a lot! We went with the bucket-o-beer whenever we could, but I drank white russians one whole night too! Don't be fooled, in the Bahama's the drinks were the same price on land.
