I did the Glory last October on the eastern. Doing the Glory western in July.
Huge ship, lots of food choices, perfect service. We were upgraded to a room on the spa deck with floor to ceiling window---beautiful!
we just sailed on the glory april 24 but the western itinerary. we had a wonderful time. the food was good and there are a lot of choices for dinning. embarkation and debarkation went smoothly. we did not have our fun pass filled out and we went through the embarkation line very quick and smooth. quicker than the people who filled theres out. the internet cafe is very expensive we found somewhere off the ship to email family. we took our 4 year old son. the camp carnival was wonderful for him he just went for a couple of hours in the evening. he is very clingy, but didn't have a problem. they do say no shorts and things in the dining room.- which of course we didn't do, but the ships dining was very much more casusal than rccl or pcl or dcl other ships i have been on. if you have any specific questions please email me. the other thing i thought of is we had an inside cabin there is hardly no dresser space for your clothes. one more thing i keep thinking of things they do give you a almost full size of lever 2000 soap to clean with. crest toothpaste rolaids dental floss and 2 nice razors!!!!! shampoo is provided in the shower too!!!
We just returned from a week on the Glory. Wonderful ship. Mark is the cruise direc.
on the ship and he also is just great.
The ship is very pretty, the food was the best, and the help is also very nice.
They went out of their way to make sure your vacation was just perfect.
We had a outside cabin with a balcony and it was great. There is just nothing
I can say bad about the whole trip except for the tours. I think next time we would
just go on our own. I think we would have seen more of the island.
Dont take the Best of St. Thomas tour.. It was 39.00 and it was not worth 4.00.
We could have taken a taxi and seen more of the island than on that tour.
Weather was just perfect we only had rain for about 2 hours on the next to the last
day then the sun came out and was great.
Be sure to go to the meetings about shopping or watch them on your TV so you
know what you can buy and how much.
Have a great time.. I know we will go on the Glory again.
The Glory was my first cruise, December 03, western. I won't comment on the ports, but the ship was great, the food was simply AMAZING, comparable with any land-based small restaurant I have ever tried. Can't believe they served 3000 passengers a night. You'll love it!!
