Hi everyone,

I'll be on the Paradise on August 15th (woohoo lol) with my b/f. It's our first vacation together and our first cruise so we're really looking foward to it. I've been skimming thru the messages since we booked a few months ago and most of my quesions have been answered except for 1. The sign & sail card...basically we booked one room but I def. want two seperate sail & sign cards to make it easier for the both of us. Is it possible to get 2 seperate cards and if so would I request this before or during embarkation? Thanks

Hi first,
You can set your cards up the way you want with 2 credit cards right at embarkment.

Well, what do you mean...as in a card for each of you or separate credit cards for each of your cards?
each of you gets your own card automatically. This is your boarding card, room key, and your only way to pay for things aboard ship.
You can request that each of you be on a separate credit card if that is what you are getting at. We always do so for our rooms.

Yes you can have your own sign and sail cards. Right before you get on the ship
you will fill out the info they need for that.
When I went there was four of us and the paper work we got before we went
had all four of us on one card just dont fill that out and do one right before you
get on the ship. Its not a problem.

There is a magnetic strip on the back of each card that retains the information concerning your credit card...as well as your individual picture....and whatever other information they want to put on there.

You would automatically get 2 different. S&S cards since it is your door key. It is then up to you how you set them up (different or same credit card).

It is very simple to get two cards for the same cabin when you check in! Don't worry!

Sorry abou that - what if we don't have any....my husband and I paid off our cards and live off of our debit card....what's the rule here?

I used my debit card and it was fine! As long as it is an actual debit card and not just an atm card you can use it!

You can use your debit/check card OR you can put up a cash deposit.

Can you give a few hundred dollars in travelers checks and then when you go over that, they can begin to charge on your credit card you provide them?

What about buying yourself shipboard credit? Has anyone done this? Would you reccomend it? I was thinking last night that if I did that right now, it would be like free by the time I actually got on the ship!
