This cruise I booked with a cruise specialist travel agent (big one on net but they are 5 miles from where I live). Anyway.....I asked her to make sure she gave them my past guest # and that it was my birthday. This morning i called carnival direct because I wanted to purchase myself a gift certificate so I have extra $$ on the cruise. While on the phone with him I asked if my booking had me as a past guess...he said no my # was not listed and then I asked about my birthday where it says occassion on the web i noticed it said NONE he said nope nothing listed. What is wrong with these TA's don't they listen???? Do i talk for the hell of it? <SIGH> guess in this life you have to do things yourself otherwise nothing ever gets done.

Ok now i vented and feel better lol

You can go out to the website and add your booking to your profile. It will then link the booking to your past passenger number that is on your profile. I belive you can also add special occasions quite possibly through the BookModify function.

If your cruise is a long way out, that information may not yet be in Carnival's system.

Edited to say that I always give the birthday/anniversary information to the res. agent when I book cruises for clients, but it's not automatically added to the booking information right away. When I call in final payment, i always review that information, and that's the time it seems to actually go into the system.
