not worried about bad weather ?
I see lots of "roll calls" for dates in August, September, etc.... I assume you are NOT worried about the possibilities of bad weather ? Ive looked @ the rates & they are good... but I dont know if its worth the risk ! Its not so much the rain would ruin the excursions.... I just dont know if I could take a violent sea....

y'all give me your opinions....

Re: not worried about bad weather ?
Most of the time, the rains in the Caribbean are short-lived. Kind of heavy....but short lived. Most of my cruises (October will mark my 17th) are during "hurricane season". I've never had "rough seas". I'm not saying it can't happen, but cruise lines will do their best to make it not happen. They want you and I back as customers.

Re: not worried about bad weather ?
No matter what, if its hurricane season or not, there is always the possibility of bad weather. In fact, my 2 in the hurricane season were dry and sunny, and the other two were stormy and cloudy

The rain in the tropics usually comes and goes away as fast as it came, except in February. You can actually stand and watch the showers move away. My neighbors are from up north and when they first moved here they were amazed by that.

We now book only during hurricane season. The rates are much better, and the kids are in school.

Re: not worried about bad weather ?
The first place the ships go during a hurricane is out to sea.

Re: not worried about bad weather ?
Just couldn't resist those rates! We sailed in January and had 30 ft seas. Weather is so unpredictable.

Our next cruise is smack dab in the middle of hurricane season (September), but as several other posters have said, if bad weather approaches our ship will just be "out to sea" and that's fine with me.
