Ya I went last year in September. It was a mess last time. There were two ships in port. The Legend and Seven Seas Navigator. Well due to the bad weather with 2 different hurricanes The Legend which comes in like at 8am came at 10am and Sevens Seas came in really late like at 11am. So there were thousands of people coming in and out. It was a Wednesday so there was more traffic in the streets. So last time was BAD. This time it might not be that bad but still may be because 1st- The city is fixing the port [about time] and there may be parts closed of. 2nd- There will be 3 pretty big ships in town that day which is Sunday. MS Legend NCL Dawn and NCL Crown and another but wont affect the ship Empress of the Seas will be in Jersey. The up side is it is a Sunday and there is less traffic in the West Side. hey hey i'll be on the legend july 18th..i'm 16 (almost 17 though) and i'm going with my dad's side of the family (14 people including me - 6 kids, 8 adults). the main reason we're going is to celebrate my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary..what a coincidence Cappy! u have 25 people going? wow thats a lot..are there any teens in your group? the kids going on my cruise are ages 16 (me), 14, 13, 12, 10, and 6. see ya on the cruise..can't wait !!!!!!!
We'll be there too.! Along with my family members about 20 of us! It's approaching fast. Hope the traffice to the pier is a breeze. And, hope the weather is nice!!!
