Elation casino

My husband and I are avid gamblers. We usually plan all of our trips around places where we can wager. We have never cruised before but are excited about the casino. What is your experience with the casinos onboard any ship? After 20 yrs. of gambling I realize you lose way more than you win but we still enjoy the "dream".
Also wondering how close the arcade is on the Elation to their casino? Our 2 kids can't come to the casino but we would like for them to be nearby at the arcade if we wanted to gamble together.

The teen club Spirals is all that's between the casino and the video arcade. They're probably about as close as can be, all right off the atrium on the Promenade deck.

On the Inspiration the casino had very poor odds compared to what i am used to in Vegas. Dealer must stay on ALL 17's in blackjack. another form of blackjack they remove all the queens out of the deck giving the casino a huge advantage. In three card poker a flush pays 3-1 compared to 4-1 in vegas and so on. I usually go to a casino about once a month and these odds were worse than any casino i have been to.
