Default Water Pressure Onboard Ships

October 25, 2004 will be my first cruise. We will be cruising on board Carnival Fascination.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me from their experience, how the water pressure is onboard the ships. I know this sounds like a silly question, pls forgive me. But I read another cruiser's review and she had complained about the water pressure not being strong enough to shampoo her daughters hair. I'm sure we will be doing alot of swimming, and don't want to worry about not being able to wash my hair.

Please, I welcome all opinions on this.

Thanks,

Ty

I was on the Carnival Holiday in April, and the Carnival Sensation in May. These are a couple of their older, smaller ships. The water pressure was very good on both ships. We were located on the upper deck forward on the Holiday, and riviera deck forward on the Sensation. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. Had no trouble with getting shampoo out of my hair, and it is midlength. Be careful when you turn the water on, it can be very hot at first, so turn the cold on, then slowly turn on the hot to the right temp.

On Inspration water pressure in the shower was not quite what I would have liked but still was quite adequate. The sink on the other hand was great! Plenty of pressure which is important to me for rinsing a razor while shaving.

I cruised the Paradise last month and I miss that great water pressure terribly! VERY strong. I agree that the water gets HOT, so be careful not to hurt yourself, and this comes from someone who loves hot showers.

I sailed the Fascination May 2003 and on the MIracle April 2004. Both ships had great water pressure. They have the best showers!!!!

March on the Inspiration the water pressure was excellent. I didn't see any problems with it whatsoever.
