Default Door Decorations

We will be cruising Alaska on Spirit and I want to decorate our stateroom door. What do you use to adhere your decorations? (magnetic strips? putty?) I have been told that tape isn't recommended. Are the doors metal? Any ideas would be great!

The doors are metal, so you can use magnets. Putty works well too.

We use scotch tape to put stuff on doors. You can use anything that will come off easily. Just clean the door off before you disembark at the end of your cruise.

There's a product called Fun Tack that's available in any stationary store or school supply aisle. It's a sticky gum-like substance that is easily removed and leaves no marks or residue.

We used putty alos, and it was funny to see that our decorations would come up missing and then the next day they would put them back and rearrange all the other ones on our door also.
We also caught them red handed taking them off our door. It was girls in their early 20's and I yelled at them, and they put them back right away. They were only 2 doors down from us, and when they came up missing again, it was a little obvious to who took them.
They are very fun to have and we got lots of compliments. Have fun with it, but don't be bummed if some of it comes up missing.

last year for my cruise i was at a local discount card and party shop. i picked up a great door decoration that unfolded and looked like a totom pole. it was perfect and cost about $2. i used scotch tape. it was so easy to find our cabin and i had alot of great comments on it.
