Default extension cords?

I have never brought an extension cord on any previous cruise. I definately see the need and I will bring one when I cruise on the Miracle in Feb. Do you guys keep them plugged in? Do you use the ones with the multiple plug-ins? Im just a bit scared they would be a fire hazard but I suppose if you unplug them when not in use you need not worry any input? Thanks Stephanie

We took a power bar. That has a switch on it, and if not in use we would just turn the switch off. But if you are worried about it being a fire hazrd, I don't think it would. But most definatley take a power bar, rather then a extension cord.

I read about this once before but didnt really pay a lot of attention and now cant remember where I saw it...What might I need the power strip for? Only thing I can think of is plugging in various things in the bath room such as curling iron and blow dryer...But I dont use a curling iron....
Am I missing something here?

Digital camera battery chargers, Laptops to download pictures, other assorted electronics, whatever you bring really.
