Default what to do with ID and wallets while snorkling

Just wondering - are there lockers or any areas to lock up your belongings when you're snorkling?

It depends on where you are snorkeling. Some do have lockers, some don't. I use a waterproof fanny pack to carry my valuables in if they don't have a secure place to store stuff. Mine is called a Splash Caddy and I got it from Magellans.

when we snorkel or dive off a boat, we keep stuff in a waterproof pouch with t-shirts. fortunately, no one has ever bothered our stuff in over 10 years of diving. we also have a plastic case that can hang around your neck. it's about cigarette pack size and we use it to carry room key, etc. to pool areas. however, we never wear it, just tuck it in our towels. at six flags, we usually put everything into zipper sandwich bags, then into a fanny pack (ours isn't waterproof).

Look in your yellow pages for "dive" and see if there is any. Since you live in IL and I live in FL it probably was easier for me to go to the local dive shop. I know there is some online shops that you can order from...but I can't really recommend one shop.
Try doing a google.com search on snorkeling equipment or dive gear or water wallets or something like that and see what you find.
