Sailing in Jan., 2005 - too soon to do Fun Pass and Sign &am

This will be our first time on Carnival. 16 of us going in January, 2005. Is it too soon to do the Fun Pass and Sign and Sail? Not sure what either of them are - but sounds like it's something we have to do. Thanks

I too am sailing Carnival in January '05 -- Havent been on a cruisein almost 10 years - what exactly is a fun pass?

The funpass you can fill in anytime online but not your sail and sign

The fun pass is just a way to get all your personal info to the cruise line before you check in so you dont have any paperwork to fill out at the terminal. It asks for the usual name/address stuff, and also how you are going to get home after your cruise. I assume this is so that they can know how early you need to be off the ship when you are ready to debark. You can fill it out as soon as your make your reservation.

I can not fill mine in yet, as it asks for flight details -which I have not booked yet.

I booked Jan '04 for Jan '05 and did my fun pass in Feb. '04

Booked in July 2003 for February 2005 - just did our funpass check in today since we just got our airfare. You need your flight information in order to complete the funpass. You can however work on it and save it as you go along. It won't give you your actual pass to print until you have completely filled it out. Hopefully, this will save some time at embarkation and get us on the ship to begin 'the adventure'.

Going in June 05 and did my fun pass in June 04--may take a while--kept getting error codes but would wait a little and go back each time errors occurred and finally got 3 fun passes done. Took about 30 minutes to complete .
