I am scubarick's mom. I did bring boxed wine on our last cruise. I packed it in the luggage and had no problem. We kept it cold in our fridge. We were on the Legend. I'm not sure all ships have the mini bars.

Scuba Rick wants to know if you work at Wegman's, if so which one. He works at Wegman's in Cicero NY.

You can buy those softside coolers that fold up and pack it in your suitcase, just keep plenty of ice in it. If the box gets too wet you can take the bladder out.
Thats a good idea, boxed wine. We might try this.

We took the red (merlot or cabernet) wine in a box and then I mixed it with the free lemonade for wine coolers.

Makes the luggage heavy but you have extra room on the way home.

Carnival's website says you may bring aboard FINE wine for a special occasion.
Does a bladder full of boxed wine qualify?

My BF's mother always brings boxed wine. She takes the bladder out of the box , throws the box away and packs the wine in a big zip lock bag, puts it in her checked luggage. No problem.

Boxed wine is finer than the screw cap wine imho.

I would hope a bladder full of box wine qualifies. Our answer will be we are celebrating 24 years of marriage-one bottle just will not do!
