I was wondering what was going on & why I hadn't seen a roll call for this sailing. The 9 year old is a big tomboy so I am sure your son & her will get along great!!! She goes as far as not even wearing girl clothes. Her name is Hanna so if you hear the name that one is with me...
My son is AJ and is is quiet around other people but once he gets used to them he opens up. You can tell her not to be too hard on him! He is at the age where he trys to avoid girls but I told him he doesn't have to worry about it on the ship since there is nobody else there that knows him. I am hoping he enjoys some of the camp carnival stuff. I will tell him too look out for a Hannah.
There is another group going. There are 44 people. There was a posting on Cruise Critics and I happened to see it and responded and it turns out the whole group only live about 45 minutes away. They had a picnic on Sunday and were kind enough to invite our family so I did get chance to meet some of them.
I just can't believe it is now less than 2 weeks! I am getting really excited now and a bit nervous. I am going to start a little packing so I can make sure I have enough stuff!
Hopefully we will meet up along the way. If not have a GREAT time!
I am going on 8/8 and so far only one other person on this board is going with me. My TA told me that Paradise was hard to sell b/c of the nonsmoking policy. Me being an ex-smoker (read: smoker who just doesn't buy them anymore) I needed the removal from temptation!
Have a fantastic time. How's the planning coming along so far, btw?
I am going with my gf (not as in a relationship kind of gf) and her 2 kids. I am 35 and am hoping, really hoping to find some non-couple people to hang around with....There is nothing wrong with hanging with couples either though.....
7 days from now we'll be on the high seas---wooohooo. We booked a grnty & if from what these kelly method/look on the sign & sail card rumors are true we got upgraded to a suite
a suite would be great! We booked a cabin from the start, I am prone to sea sickness so we are on the Riveria deck mid ship. Maybe one day I can try the guarantee rooms with the hopes of being upgraded but for now I am still too chicken to try it.
Hope you have a great time.
Is this your 1st cruise?
This will be my 4th but our last one was in 1991. I got pregnant in 93 and my son was born in 94 so we have been waiting for him to be old enough to enjoy it with us. We were married 20 years and then surprise! It was a big adjustment but he is a lot of fun. I am just hoping he does some camp carnival stuff.
I told him to look out for Hannah. I can't believe it is now less than a week away.
