Default Is there a water slide on the Elation?

We've been looking at the deck plans and don't see one......

Anyone that's sailed the Elation: does she have a water slide?

Oh, and is the water actually hot in the hot tub? (I've never been on a ship yet where it was)

I thought all Carnival ships had slides. Not sure though.

I dunno about the hot water, but it makes me sweat just thinking about a hot tub in 90 degree weather.

There is no water slide on the Elation...................and we did not try the hot tub (wish I had), but the Elation is a wonderful ship and you will have an amazing time! I would cruise her again in a heartbeat, but until then I will just have to wait 13 more days to set sail on the glorious Glory.............here I come!

Anyway, have a great time!

Are you sure there is no water slide? there was one on Paradise and there is on every other Fantasy class.
I have also looked up pictures of the Elation taken by cruisers and have found there is a waterslide at the pool... also this excerpt from a review....
"I don't recall any ship having as much uniformed security on duty as we saw on the Elation. They seemed to be everywhere: at the top of the slide; in the shops; around the pool; everywhere. I guess the only thing worse than a security guard hanging around is not having one around if you need him."
Here are some links to galleries with the slide pictured.

http://www.cruise-forums.com/gallery/image.php?id=19141 LOTS of them!

So, I don't know whether you didn't pay attention to the stairs over in the middle of hte pool area starboard making you walk around, or the line of kids using it, or the big blue slide winding down into the pool, or what......but there is a water slide!

Yes, there is a waterslide on the Elation. I'm 100% sure that there is having spent six months sailing on that ship.

If you get enough people to pee in the hot tub, then the water will be warm.

There is definately a water slide on the Elation. As for the hot tubs, better known as "people soup". the temps vary.

If there isn't a water slide on Elation.....then I don't know what my husband was doing, he sure seemed to be going down a slide into the pool to me when we were on her.....maybe I was dreaming????? <S>

I have slide pics at http://community.webshots.com/user/aggieastrosfan.

Trust me, there's a slide! It was the highlight of my last sea day because it was so hot, and what better way to cool off!

I concur on the hot tubs, also. In '02 the hot tubs seemed pretty hot, but then again, that was at night in the Pacific. May in the Gulf wasn't even worth the hot tub, IMO. I think the outdoor temp has a lot to do with how hot the hot tubs feel. I'd check out the hot tubs in the spa - they're usually pretty quiet, never any kids in there, and might be a bit warmer.
