After seeing that other people on this board who are sailing later than I am already have their cruise docs in hand, as a 8/8 sailer-- should I be worried?

They say 2-4 weeks, but its seems like 2 weeks is more the norm. If you dont have them by mid next week, I'd make a few phone calls to see when you might expect them.

Does anyone know if Docs have ever NOT arrived in time? And if so, what happens then?
I don't want to stress anyone out about it, and I don't want to stress out about ours....but it seems this is something that makes us bite our nails every cruise. And this time its worse for us because of a snafu in getting our flights arranged for the day BEFORE the sale date. Carnival says they won't have the last person's flight scheduled settled until NEXT WEEK, and we sail 8/15. I think they're going to overnight the docs, though, because of the snafu.
Still....this is the one thing I seem to stress about. Once the docs are here, no worries, just enjoyment!
14-21 days is usually when we have gotten ours in the past. This time, however, we got ours 34 days ahead, then I made a change (broke out into separate cabin) and those docs came in on day 26. We have gotten them once 8 days prior. It never hurts to call your TA to see what s/he can find out for you.
