Default Mr Pibb VS Dr Pepper

I have read that Carnival only serves Coke products, not Dr. Pepper. Do they have Mr. Pibb?

YES YES YES!!!!!!!
Mr. Pibb is coke's own version of Dr. Pepper. I actually stay away from coke and drink Pibb on my cruises now, but once they did run out near the end.

I was delighted to find Mr. Pibb on the Fantasy. But one bartender told me it doesn't sell well and Carnival may not have it in the future

I am continually amazed at the loyalty people show their soft drinks - you guys are so funny - all the talk I've read about smuggling on pop and how much people can get away with and what they'll bring because the cruise line doesn't sell their favourite brands - makes me grin.

I might have one can/glass of pop (soda.... depending where, on the continent, you haild from) every few days here at home. I imagine that I could drink up to 10 soft drinks during the week that we are cruising but most of the time I'll opt for water as it is what I prefer. I sure hope that they have ginger ale! (of course nothing beats Canada Dry) I promise to leave all the coke, diet coke, and pibb to the rest of you , sorry for all the Pepsi drinkers in the crowd.

The chocolate milk is free. I can live with that.

Chocolate milk (milk) is free? Just in the dining room and the brassarie or everywhere? Can anyone else confirm this? It would be great news as my kids drink a lot of milk!

We had already decided that we would not get soda cards for the kids as they rarely have it at home, except maybe once a week. We don't drink it much either and so pyaing for it as we order it will cost us less in the long run. And with water, lemonaid and ice tea (unsweatened, I am guessing) flowing freely, and now this comment about milk, I don't think it (soda card) would be a good value for my gang.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Tracey

(getting soooooooooooooo excited... 28 days to go .. no documents yet.. and we've been riding the roller coaster of upgrade/downgrade with our GTY cabins... but no matter where they put us we all know we'll have a wonderful time!)

CanadynGrl, as many cruises as I've been on I just can't remember if milk is available all day, like at the lunch buffet areas. But I don't think it is by where the tea and lemonade is. So if you don't see it out anywhere, I would just go to the buffet area or maybe even the pizza place and ask for it, (there's always someone working there). I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem getting it for you. Or hey, you could also get it by ordering room service!
