Default Aruba - any good beaches?

We'll be sailing into Aruba in January, 2005. We've been there many times and love it. We've done the island tour and several times just spent the day shopping and sitting by the marina. We may like to go to a beach this time. Any good beaches with kids? Any that offer "walk from shore" snorkeling. Any "nude" beaches for a few single guys that will be with us Thanks!

Baby beach was nice. We also took a ferry (on a jeep tour) over to De Palm island to snorkel and eat. It was real nice. Very very tiny. Have a great time! Debbie

What Jeep tour did you take? Was it a Carnival tour or not? We were in Aruba years ago (non-cruise) and took one called Eagle Jeep tour for 6 hours or so. What a blast. Hope to do it next April when we cruise on the Destiny.

We were on the Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas back in 1996. Not sure of the name of the tour operator - we left at 8am and we went to Baby Beach as a side trip (not part of the tour) becaue the tour operator met his girlfriend there - great for us- loved the beach and we were all hot and dusty! Then we got delayed in town because they were having a parade for a local soccer team - this was great and we loved seeing the locals and the parade but they held the ship for our tour (luckily booked through the ship) as we were the last to board at around 5pm I think - they immediately took up the gang plank... Baby Beach is good for kids very shallow! But for beach activities Palm beach is beautiful! You can get to the beach at Depalm pier by the Aruba Grand! Beautiful enjoy! You will have to take a cab to baby beach bus to Palm beach!
