Default carnival Stock

Does anyone own any CCL stocks? Are there any benefits to owning CCL shares and taking a cruise?

1,000 shares gets you $100 shipboard credit.

It is 100. The $100 credit is for a 7-day cruise. Different cruise lengths have a greater/lesser credit.

CCL costs $46/share. In the past, it's been an excellent investment.

I love Carnival Cruise Line and will continue supporting it through their ticket agents. However, through my broker I'll support companies with a lower P/E, who are not very close to their 52 week high, and whose insiders are not dumping their stock left and right as we speak. You stand a much higher chance of loosing money than you do making it at these levels. 4-5 years ago it was a great investment. Then, so was Enron and Worldcom.

O.K. so we have stock - now what do we do so we get the $100.00 credit for a 7 day cruise? Is this shipboard credit?

It is shipboard credit. Talk to whoever booked your cruise for you. They'll tell you what you need to do [it's usually to provide them with a broker's statement noting you own 100 shares of stock].

Never mind, I found the financials. It is $250 for 14+ and $100 for 7+ per cabin regardless of how many shares you own.
