Mexican Riviera next?

My DH and I have been on six cruises with our seventh booked, all to the Caribbean. We love the Caribbean, and we love Carnival, but we're running out of new ports to visit, so we're considering visiting the Mexican Riviera next? Any comments or suggestions on this or another alternative?

Consider the 8 day to Acapulco, Manzanillo, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa out of San Diego.
I have a bunch of friends and family members going Nov 9 - 17, 2004 with rates really low for the balcony cabins. We also are getting a $100 shipboard credit.
I've not been to any of these ports and am really excited to have something beside the caribbean too. Let me know if you want anymore info rdonte@cox.net

The Pride is out of Long Beach and i hear is a wonderful cruise. In fact we are going 12/26.

rdonte....how low are "really low" rates for balcony? Hubby and I live in southern California and are considering taking the cruise out of San Diego to Zihuatanejo, etc., just for the convenience sake. Plus ever since "the Shawshank Redemption" we've wanted to see Zihuatanejo! *L*

We have done the Caribbean many times and the Mexican Riveria; Puerto Vallarta, Matzalan and Cabo route 4 times and decided to try something different too, so we choose the Spirit out of San Diego too. We have never been to these ports and are excited to do something new too.

We have a group (rate) going and there is still room for 11/17-25/04. Email me for info if interested.

Hello,

Last year a group of us flew to L.A. and took the Princess to Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.....All three of these are "WONDERFUL"!! I especially liked Mazatlan...We're booked for the 8 day Legend 11/19 to Caribbean....but the next cruise will be out of San Diego to Acapulco.

My husband and I have done both 7- and 10-day cruises to the Mexican Riveria. While these were lots of fun, we prefer the Caribbean cruises. The ocean in the Mexican Riveria is not as clear and not as good for diving as in the Caribbean. However, the ports are fun. Lots to do. Plenty of sun year round.
