Default riviera deck

can someone tell me his experience on riviera deck, like the motion, do you hear the ship engine, and what about the elevators when you have to go upstairs, to the lido deck and higher? we have cabin nr 1342 with oceanview, in the middle of the ship.

I've stayed on the Riviera deck multiple times. No noise/motion. If at all possible, you might want to consider using the stairs rather than trhe elevators. It's faster....and it's a way to "burn calories".

I have also stayed on the Riviera deck, middle of the ship. Its the best place for motion and also quiet. We took the stairs most of the time as the elevator wait times are not the best plus the added bonus of the exersize. But if you are unable to do the steps just wait for the elevators. Great location.

We also stayed on the Riviera deck. We were occasionally surprised on leaving our cabin and going to upper decks because we felt more ship movement on them. Our area (R170) was very quiet with the exception of when we were docking (could it have been the anchor we heard?). Other than that, I'd stay there again. It was particularly convenient when debarking at ports because it was just 1 floor down.

We indeed used the stair whenever possible

have a great trip

Just got back from the Glory. We had room 1370, oceanview on the riviera deck. We heard no sound from the engines and elevators were very accesible and quick. There was very little rocking of the ship felt. We loved it. Just be aware about debarkation. If you self-assist (carry your own bags off the ship) you will be off the ship early. If you have the ship take care of your bags (like we did), you will probably be sitting for about 2 hours waiting for them to call you to get your bags. They start from the highest deck and work their way down. Riviera was the last deck called. Not a big deal if you know to expect it.
