on Carnivals website it said that the 9-2 sailing has been changed to a cruise to nowhere but it didn't have anything for the 9-5 yet. It said to keep checking back and they would post things as they happen. The 9-3 sailing of the Fascination has been cancelled. I hope everything works out and you get to go.

Hello from Florida,

The weather has been gorgeous outside today; the only indication that a Hurricane is headed our way is high surf at the East Coast beaches, swirling circular wind blowing threw the trees, and the air is very humid and hard to breathe.

Tomorrow night we are expecting the rain to start on the West Coast where I am. The evacuation has been huge, all of the hotels and motels in Polk and Hillsborough County are full. A massive amount of people have evacuated from the East Coast of Florida.

Cruising out of Florida next week? Call Carnival about your cruise at 1-800-CARNIVAL.

The people who inhabit the East Coast will probably be evacuated until it is safe to drive there. If there are trees and power lines down, I doubt anyone will be allowed back in the area.

The National Guard was keeping people who did not belong away from Punda Gorda after the last Hurricane hit Florida.
