I see that this is an excursion that Carnival offers. Has anyone out there gone on this? How was it? Also is there a way to go on your own directly through the company running the lobster cruise to save money??
I asked this question on cruisecritic.com and only had one response who said her co worker went and said it was good. If you have kids like me you know they will love the pirate sword fights. I dont like lobster but they surely will have something else. Anyone out there that can give us more info? I have never seen it offered on the private excursion websites.
We didn't actually try this, but as we were returning to our ship from our excursion, the pirate ship was docked at the pier and they were actually "performing" for the dinner. It looked like great fun (from the little I saw). If we ever have the opportunity, I hope to do this.
We were on it in April and although it rained almost the whole time it was a riot !
The 'crew' was very entertaining and got the 'audience' to participate alot.
The food was , well it was , ok. The fun was the dancin, singing, drinkin and watching the pirates .. Kid safe too, nothing raunchy, just fun.
