Default Please Help - Cruise to Nowhere

I was thinking about surprising my husband with a delayed anniversary trip (our anniversary is Sept. 14, and we live in FLORIDA-we get hurricanes as anniversary gifts!)on the Miracle 2 day cruise to nowhere in November. I have a few questions for those that have been on cruises to nowhere.

1. Is there a formal night?
2. Will there be enough to do to keep us (him) from getting bored?

I love cruising, could live on a cruise ship. I have no problems with grabbing a book and a lounge chair. I just don't want my husband to be disappointed.

Thank you!

Yes there is a formal night on a 2 day cruise . Carnival is the only line that serves lobster on a 2 nighter. You will have lots of fun. I was onthe Miracle last june great ship.Enjoy your cruise

On a cruise to nowhere, there is usually a formal night, called the Captain's party, which is optional, I do suggest you going if you like Free drinks for an hour, besides the food and music.
As fas as enough for him to do, there will be PLENTY. Bingo, the Casino, the shows, the food, deck parties, pools, hot tubs, exercize equipment, food, music, sports lounge, food--I know I said that 3 times, but you will NEVER go hungry. Mainly the casino is a big thing, but if your not a gambler (which I am not ) hang out at the pool. The have deck parties and game, or there is always people watching!
Have Fun

Hope you decide to go! I'll be onboard her too. I am glad you asked the formal night question, I have sailed on Carnival before for a four night cruise but would have never guessed they would do it on the quick 2 nighter to nowhere. But, hey if that's what it takes to get my lobster dinner, then watch me strut my fancy stuff! !
I can't wait to see the ship in person. I have seen pictures, but I am sure it doesn't do it justice.

Make sure you tell them your celebrating an annivesary, as on the other cruises they will usually at least mention it a few times during your cruise. Oh yeah, and you can order more than one lobster if you want too. Just don't go overboard' cause their are sooo many other things to eat onboard!

Hope to see ya onboard and thanks for asking this question.
