I just watched the Conquest pull away turn around and sail down the river via the web cam. Wow what a sight. It is hard to believe that we will be on that ship this time next week! Any one have any last minute Conquest tips? Thanks, DD
Yes, it is a grand sight to see. And even better sight if your on it ! ! If possible, I watch it leave every Sunday evening. If your up, early enough on Sunday Morning, it arrives in port around 4.00 - 4.30 am.
Due to job related issues, the wife and I had to cancel our cruise on the Conquest this year. Our sailing date, was today. But ,we'll be on the Conquest this time next year.
DD, hope you have a great cruise. The Conquest, is a beautiful ship and huge ! We sailed on her in 2003. We had great service, good food, and a wonderful time.
DD..the best tip I can give you is..Dont be late and Dont forget your luggage..I too watched her sail away today..just have to watch her 10 more sundays and the 11th one, I will be on her like a duck on a junebug>G<
We went on a three/day, two/night "Holiday" cruise this weekend. Saturday night we passed the "Conquest," in the river, as they were coming in. Everyone was waving and hollering from both ships. Last night we passed her again as she was leaving. We got to wave and holler at a different bunch, but they sounded the same.
Just watched her sail away again..got off right on time and down the river..I have a co-worker on this one..Hope he has a good time and some good reports when he gets back.
