I saw a post for a sample menu for Carnival Captains Gala Dinner.
It listed grilled jumbo shrimp. Is lobster still offered perhaps a different night?
Just wondering as I look forward to that entree.
Sample menu I saw posted: http://www.cruise.com/cruise_info/cr...nus/index.html
If you will look on the photo gallery, some photos that were posted within the past week had a pic of lobster. It looked pretty tasty... This was on a Carnival Cruise, I'm thinking maybe the Glory. Which ship are you cruising on?
All Carnival SEVEN DAY ITINERARIES use the same menu. On the PRIDE this May and the GLORY last October we had lobster on the 1st formal nite, which I think is the evening of the first day at sea. I'm sure Jim will correct me if that is wrong. <big grin.
Lobster last week on the Glory on the first formal night.

yes, we had lobster on elation and jubilee. however, it was pretty tough, so i don't know if i'll try it again. i had tried the 2nd cruise thinking it was just a fluke to get a tough one the first time, but unfortunately i was wrong. the steak was much better.
Yes, Lobster is offered in the dining room. I believe it is offered on one of the dress up nights. You can check the daily menu posted outside the dining room. Do you want to hear my Lobster story?
On one of our cruises my dh order Lobster, so did our ds, and nephew. When the Lobster came neither of the teens liked the Lobster and they were going to send them back to the kitchen; being a person who never wastes expensive food my dh ate all three Lobsters. Talk about miserable, he was miserable all night.
