Default time to kill

Ok , we just realized our return flight gives us about 6 hours to kill after we disembark....what do y'all do in that case? where do you stash your luggage while you tour a port city?...in our case, New Orleans....

Hi Cynda,
If you are doing a ship excursion after you get off the ship, they take the luggage with you and at the end of the tour, drop you and your luggage at the airport.

Back in 2001, we did a ship's excursion called something like "New Orleans City Tour". It was a 5 hour tour which included airport transportation at the end. It was one of the best tours we have done after a cruise, even our then 16 y/o son enjoyed it. We toured NO for about 1 1/2 hours, seeing historical homes and historical cemeteries. We also had 1 1/2 hours at the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, then on to the airport. It seemed everyone shopped at Cafe du Monde and bought Beignets because thats all you smelled on the plane. And your luggage is kept below on the bus according to which airline you are flying out on so no worries.
