If you are, I could sure use some suggestions on where to stay that's real close to where the Holiday will be departing. Just from what I can tell, the Best Western Battleship Inn looks close. I was also told that Riverview Plaza is good, but they're booked up. Any idea's?
I am not from Mobile, but I will be leaving on the Holiday out of Mobile on Oct 16th, we will be staying at the Radisson Admiral. They have a park and cruise hotel package for $99 per night. This gives you one nights stay and parking for your car while you are on your cruise with a shuttle to the ship. From what I have been told the cruise terminal is about 3.5 blocks from this hotel. I haven't stayed there yet, but hopefully it will be a decent place. Good luck in finding something. Radisson # is 251-432-8000.
I lived in Mobile for 15 years, try Admiral Semmes Radisson 1-800-333-3333 It's downtown,,, Holiday Inn Historic District241-694-0100, Hope this helps,,, Good Luck! There's also a bed & breakfast we love to stay at downtown too,, It's the Towle House 241-432-6440
I did book us at the Radison for 10-21-04 the $99 also includes breakfast the next morning. Will let you know how we come out. As of right now they are going to have to contact us back about making arrangements to & from the docks. Since this is new to them they still have not got it worked out.

I did some more snooping around and found the Ramada. It looks close enough and their website looked pretty impressive, mentioned Carnival. Anyway, they have a room available for $66.75 and includes a conteintal breakfast. I would still be interested in hearing about your stay at the Radisson though, I'm sure I'd still have plenty of time to change reservations, if I needed to.
First timer, I would too ! lol !
I've stayed at Ramada there once several years ago. I had a relative that lived there in mobile, and he had passed away. While I was there, I got to do alittle sight seeing there in Mobile and at Dolphin Island. Its a great little town.
Hope you have a great cruise.
