the 10/16 sailing of the carnival spirit will no longer be stopping in xtappa (sp?) due to some kind of a problem, instead they will spend more time in acapulco. Arriving on Tuesday (later at 5:30 instead of 1:00) and not leaving until Wednesday at 4:00 (instead of 2:00 am), then Manzinillo on Thursday as planned.
Anyone else have any more details? No sure about any compensation for the missed port. Hopefully the $25. The sailing is booked.

I just found out myself. What a bummer. I think the story is a bit convoluted and I think they could have found us another port. When I called Carnival they said NO refunds on the port charges because the charges are built in to the fee.
