sending mail from Cozumel

I mailed 3 postcards from Cozumel (on the ship) to Texas on Saturday, Oct. 2.
They have not been received. Does anyone know how long it take to get mail from Mexico ?

My Mom sent me a post card from Cancun and it took 2 months. I live in Florida.

Usually 3-4 weeks.

Emmy,
We mailed 3 post cards to friends here in town,from the City of Hell, and it took 2 weeks on 2 of the cards and 3 weeks on the other. Hopefully yours will arrive soon.
It would be faster to purchase the post cards and then mail them in the states.

it took 3 weeks for our cards to arrive... our recipients didnt believe we had actually mailed any & were upset that we forgot them... better late than never I guess

Well, it has been almost 9 months and my postcards still have not been received from Cozumel. I mailed them to three different addresses in Texas.
Did anyone else have this happen ?
The purser must not have mailed them !

Did you buy Mexican postage? or use American? If it was American, you'll never see it. I found out the hard way too. I made sure this last time when we were in Canada to buy Canadian postage and got them in about a week.

I bought Mexican postage, because I wanted it mailed from Mexico.

Its no telling what happened to them . Gives the ole term, " lost - in- the- mail, " new meaning !
In the future, I will get all my postcards together, and mail them once we get back to port in the U.S. ( or just hand deliver them myself )
