Canada/New England -Clothing? HELP!

Hi,
I will be going on the Canada/New England cruise June 2005. I have NEVER been on a cruise before and I don't want to look out of place!
How many formal nights? What should I wear for them? What is worn during the day and at the stops?

I can tell you from living in NewEngland= The summers are sometimes very humid and hot. But, June= the temps vary. So you should be prepared for some chilly nights that you might not be use to depeneding where you are from.
