Re: Re: Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assi
I've been on quite a handful of carnival cruises, and just got off the Glory with Stuart Dunn as CD. He was awesome, but I have to say the best cruise I've had with Carnival was the Triumph in may with John Heal (sp?) and Wee Jimmy. I haven't heard much about John since except for a rumor that he retired? Anyone know if that's true?
As a side note, we all absoluted adored you,Wee Jimmy, so if you get a break to read this, thanks for making my cruise. You are one of the best things carnival has going for them and I hope they appreciate you as much as me and my family do.
Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assignments
I was wondering about John Heald and the rumor (he actually said he was retiring on our Sept. Glory cruise, but I've been told he's said it before) he was retiring. Jim?

Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assignments
Okay, let me see if I can answer these last questions. Troy Linton is no longer with Carnival. John Heald is still with CCL and has been retiring for 5 years now. <VBG> JOhn is on vacation at the moment and will return to the Glory the first part of Feb and is supposed to remain there until May. John will then go on vacation again and also travel in the European area becomeing familiar with the ports that the brand new Carnival Liberty will be visiting because he is going to bring her out. Again, he is retiring after that. <G> I'll believe it when Heidi his wife tells me he is retiring and not before. <>
Wee Jimmy, (Ralph) flew into Miami yesterday and returned to the Triumph as asst Cruise Director. I'll pass on your good words to him as he does appreciate it. Ralph knows CM well and was reading our boards while on his last holiday. He is a good guy and someone else I am proud to call my friend.
Deb Stuart Dunn will be on the Glory the week of the 5th and that is his last week as John is returning for the 2/12 sailing. Did I answer everyone?
Jim
Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assignments
...thanks for clearing that up. I guess I must have just missed John actually since I just got off the Glory, not that there was anything wrong with Stuart Dunn though.
:-)
Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assignments
Can any one tell me what ship Marahscalh Stanton will be on we comes off vacation...Took a cruise on the Inspiration over Thanksgiving and would like to know the next ship he will be on. Thanks for the help
Re: CCL Cruise Directors and their current ship assignments
Just returned from the PRIDE and Greg Kneale is the cruise director. He is quite funny and has a great accent, not sure where he is from. He did a good job but my opinion is that no one can beat Cory...sorry he left Carnival. Anyone know who the CD is on the VALOR...I will be sailing March 13th..
