New Year Cruise?

I’ve booked a New Year cruise aboard the Inspiration. I’ve cruised with Carnival several times, but never on a holiday. What should I expect? I’m 42: will there be folks my age? Will there be many families onboard? SINGLE WOMEN??? I’m looking for some experience here. Please help…THANKS

I've taken several New Years cruises. You're going to have a BALL!

New Years Eve is the best time to be on a ship!!! Everyone is out and about and enjoying. No one hiding in their cabins <G> The atmosphere is wonderful.

The crowd will be a mix. Lot of families, but sure you'll find singles onboard as well.

Best to go to the first organized singles mixer onboard. That should give you an idea of who's who.

My wife and I are booked for the New Years Cruise aboard the Inspiration. Our 12 year anniversary is on January 1(just after midnight on New Years Eve).
This is our first cruise, so I don't really know what to expect but I imagine that there will be some families, some singles, some couples, and some seniors.
There may be more couples and singles than there are families and seniors. Considering that this is a New Years Cruise, families and seniors may assume that it will be more of a party atmosphere. But again.....What do I know, This is my first cruise.
Anyway......we're both very excited about going.

I will be on a New Years cruise. Carnival Elation. My family and I are going. I would think it would be a mix of people being it is a celebration type holiday. Either way drink and enjoy the New Year!
