Default Which Mayan ruins to see?

I'm hoping someone here can give me some input into which of the Mayan ruin sites in Belize is the better excursion to take. I've read that the Xanantunich Ruins are pretty incredible. Any input regarding sites, cost, excursions that are worth booking on your own or Belize related tips would be so much appreciated! Thanks!

You have heard correctly and those are the best to view in that country. In addition you can still climb the main temple which will soon not be allowed so take advantage while you can for incredible views. The bus ride there is also quite interesting not to mention the handcranked ferry. <G>
