I was getting dressed and looked out my balcony window and much to my surprise their was a man cleaning the balcony. Luckily my shoes were the only thing I had not put on. I had to walk to the door so that I could see how this guy got on my balcony. Much to my surprise they open all of the dividers.
I sure wouldn't be expecting to see anyone on my balcony though. Good thing you were dressed... You were luckier than I was. Last year we were running late for dinner so I was rushing to get dressed. Not even thinking about the curtains being open, I got out of the shower and was rushing around the cabin getting my clothes for dinner...undressed and was shocked to look up and see another cruise ship passing by on its way out of port...so close it seemed I could reach out and touch it and yes...I could see people on the decks looking in. I had the cabin light on being that it was dusk so if I could see them I am sure they could see me in my birthday suit. Talk about a mad dash to close those curtians!!

The lovely Mrs. Jones got a surprise one afternoon while we were in port. We had an outside cabin, and she too was running around semi nude, when she looked up to see a crewman looking in. He was on a scaffold, going down the outside of the ship, and apparently touching up the paint. He just smiled as she closed the drapes!!!!
Another time, we had a Carnival ship tied up across the pier from us. We were on the Century, and sitting at a lovely window table enjoying dinner. The Carnival ship started to back up to leave the port, when several (12 or 15) young men MOONED US! I guess they figured we couldn't get to them at that point. The entire dining room howeled with laughter, and delight. I, along with the others on the Century will probably never forget the incident.
three years ago we were "initiating" our balcony on the sail away evening by "quietly" enjoy a little of the wild thang on the balcony, only to bump the divider between balconies and have it open. The couple on the next balcony saw more than they paid for. And then we had to see our neighbors all aound the ship for the next 13 days.
That reminds me of something that happened to us on the Destiny. We had an aft facing balcony and went out to enjoy the evening air before going to bed. While we were looking out to sea a lady shouts down from her balcony to us. She asks "did you guys see my hooters" after asking each other "what did she say?" we both replied "ummm noooo" She keeps asking Are you sure you didn't see my hooters? my husband ask me...do you think she lost em? She then tells us that her husband had had too much to drink (of course she didn't) and he insisted she hang her hooters over the railing. We slowly walked backward into our cabin where we cracked up!
If that was you...so sorry to pass along this story...and thanks for the memories. We think about it every thime we cruise!!

WE WERE ON THE GLORY IN APRIL AND HAD MAYBE A LITTLE TO MUCH TO DRINK, OUR FRIENDS WANTED TO PLAY A LITTLE GAME OF DARE, WE THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE SO WE WENT ALONG WITH IT, WE DARED THEM TO EAT OFF SOMEONE ELSES PLATE, AND TELL THEM THEY WERE STOWAWAYS AND VERY HUNGRY AT THE BUFFET...HAHA WE GOT A LAUGH...THEY DARED ME AND MY WIFE TO STRIP NAKED AND TAKE THE ELEVATOR TO THE MAIN LOBBY, GET OUT AND SWITCH ELEVATORS AND COME BACK UP TO THE POOL DECK.....I WAS AGAINST IT BUT MY WIFE CONVINCED ME SO OFF WENT THE CLOTHES AND DOWN WE WENT, WE STEPPED OUT AND TO OUR SUPRISE....SECURITY....STANDING RIGHT THERE ESCORTING A LADY IN A WHEELCHAIR TO HER CABIN, WE IMMEDIATELY PUSHED THE DOOR CLOSE BUTTON AND WENT BACK TO THE POOL DECK, NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DID IT AND STILL LOST BECAUSE WE DIDN'T SWITCH ELEVATORS...THE NEXT DAY THE SECURITY PERSON WALKED BY OUR BREAKFAST TABLE AND JUST SMILED...ALL IN A NIGHT OF CRUISING.
How funny all the stories are! My son will be 15 when we go in March and he will want to moon someone as we are leaving port if i tell him about the mooning story. He already wants to spit off the back of the boat like in "Titanic".

1- little piece of advice for first time cruisers and expieranced cruisers too.. Those little door signs that say," Do not disturb ", If by chance you do not want to be disturbed, place then on the outside of your cabin door, before the moment of passion heats up !
A year later, I can still see the look on our cabin stewardess's face in my mind ! She got more than she wanted to see too !
